Published on April 11, 2025

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and World Vision International (WVI) have renewed their long-standing partnership by signing a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at FAO Headquarters in Rome. The agreement aims to address food insecurity, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture, with a particular focus on vulnerable children.

The renewed agreement builds on over a decade of collaboration between FAO and WVI, which has fostered shared knowledge and expertise in addressing food insecurity. Under this renewed partnership, both organizations will:

  • Enhance programming in anticipatory action and climate and environmental sustainability to safeguard lives and livelihoods.
  • Collaborate on cash and voucher programming and microfinance to strengthen community resilience.
