[04 February 2026] — Micah Global, a leading Christian network committed to advancing development, humanitarian response, creation care, and advocacy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniella Daou to its Board of Directors.

Daniella brings a wealth of international experience in partnership development, humanitarian engagement, and child-centered programming. She currently serves as Partner Relations Officer at Thimar-LSESD in Lebanon, where she strengthens strategic partnerships and mobilizes sustainable resources to support inclusive education and community development in crisis-affected contexts. Her work is marked by a strong commitment to translating global standards into locally grounded initiatives that deliver measurable impact for families and communities.

“We are delighted to welcome Daniella to the Board,” said Eu-Lee Chng, Vice-Chair of Micah Global. “As a young leader shaped by lived experience in a conflict-affected context, Daniella brings a perspective that will enrich Micah Global’s governance and discernment. Her global perspective, deep compassion for vulnerable communities, and commitment to Christ-centered service align powerfully with our mission.”

Christine MacMillan, Micah Chair, added, " Daniella's participation at the October 2025 Micah Global Consultation in Cape Town exemplified her contributing comments of insight through the lens of her relational faith in Christ.”

Daniella works closely with local churches and community organizations, equipping them through training in child rights and safeguarding while strengthening their capacity to respond effectively to complex humanitarian realities. Her approach reflects a holistic vision of transformation, one that empowers local leaders while fostering resilience and hope.

Her dedication to service is further demonstrated through her long-term volunteer role with Operation Christmas Child, where she served as Lebanon’s Resource Coordinator and contributed to national-level partner engagement.

Daniella began her career in the International Affairs Unit at the Office of the Prime Minister, shaping her enduring commitment to public service and international cooperation. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration and plans to pursue a PhD in the same field, continuing her investment in thought leadership and effective governance.

“As I step into this role, I am honoured to join a network that reflects God’s heart for justice, compassion, and restoration,” says Daniella. “I look forward to serving alongside fellow board members to strengthen the organization’s impact and support communities in ways that uphold dignity, foster hope, and create lasting change.”

Daniella’s appointment reflects Micah Global’s ongoing commitment to strong, values-driven governance and its vision to see communities flourish through collaborative, faith-inspired action.
