Micah Global Launches Search for New Global Director
31 October 2025 – Cape Town, South Africa
Micah Global has officially announced the search for a new Global Director to lead the international Christian network into its next season of growth and impact. With over 400 members and member organisations across more than 80 countries, the role is pivotal in shaping the future of the movement.
The Search Committee shared the following statement:
“The Global Director provides overall leadership for Micah Global, strengthening its Secretariat and member network to advance Micah’s mission and deliver on its strategic priorities. We invite applications as we seek an inspiring, collaborative leader who can navigate global complexities, empower member-led initiatives, and uphold Micah’s prophetic voice for justice, mercy, and hope.”
The announcement also honours the contributions of Dr Deborah Hancox, the outgoing Global Director, who has served in the role for the past five years. During her tenure, Dr Hancox played a key role in:
- Clarifying Micah Global’s identity, purpose, and structure
- Promoting member leadership and digital engagement
- Strengthening the Secretariat’s systems and team
- Fostering unity between the Board and global partners
She will continue to be part of the Micah community as a member.
