Published on November 6, 2026

Micah Global is delighted to announce Leticia Pérez de Celis' appointment to the Board, effective October 2026.

Leticia holds a degree in Social Work and serves as Program and Training Coordinator at Comunidad y Cambio, Argentina. Based in Villa María, Córdoba, she conducts advocacy work throughout Latin America. She has more than 20 years of experience in promoting the rights and participation of children and adolescents, preventing violence, including gender-based violence, and fostering relationships founded on respect, care, and buen trato (positive, nurturing treatment). She is also a trainer with CLAVES, a Uruguayan organization dedicated to promoting positive treatment and preventing violence against children and adolescents.

For two decades, Letitia has led the Facilitators for Change Program, which supports young people from diverse Christian denominations across Latin America and the Caribbean and provides them with tools to strengthen their commitment and promote transformation in their communities. Her work also encompasses community development and the accompaniment of the Mapuche community of Sierra Colorada, Chubut, through initiatives such as Padrinos de la Escuela para la Vida (School for Life Sponsors).

From the perspective of integral mission, her educational work emphasizes playful and participatory methodologies as a means of fostering connection and critical collective reflection. She underscores the prophetic significance of empowering individuals and communities as a way of driving processes of personal and structural transformation.

We welcome her wisdom, experience and contribution to Micah's Board and members.
