CEO of SRD recognized among Top 50 Global Professional Women

Ms. Yasmine Joseph, CEO of the Society for Relief and Development, was recently recognized among the Top 50 Global Professional Women for Excellence in Humanitarian Leadership and Community Development.

Selected from over 500 accomplished professionals representing 26 countries, the prestigious accolade was presented at the Global Women Awards in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Society for Relief & Development (SRD) is a non-profit, non-government organization registered in Pakistan. Conceived by Ms Joseph as a lone development worker, SRD came into existence as a women-led organization that takes a holistic approach to community upliftment. 

Today SRD's mission is to empower marginalized and vulnerable populations by enhancing their access to basic services, decent livelihood, and relief assistance to build a flourishing community. SRD currently represents the potential of Pakistani women and youth in three provinces, 12 cities, and various regions of the country. 

This international recognition celebrates Ms. Joseph's visionary leadership, dedication to empowering communities, and unwavering commitment to advancing social development - leading with compassion and purpose.
